A film with Diljit & Priyanka Chopra

During an interview with Connect FM Canada, Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor unveiled an intriguing revelation about a potential film project titled "Sardaarni" that nearly came to fruition, featuring the dynamic duo of Diljit Dosanjh and Priyanka Chopra.

Kapoor candidly recounted the narrative of how he initially approached Priyanka Chopra for the lead role, only to find her unexpectedly engulfed in the whirlwind success of her groundbreaking series, "Quantico." He fondly expressed his happiness for Chopra's flourishing career trajectory, even though it led to the unfortunate shelving of their collaboration.

Despite this setback, Kapoor remained optimistic and hinted at his upcoming venture into Punjabi cinema. In response to inquiries regarding the casting, he intriguingly suggested that Diljit Dosanjh might find a place in the project, contingent upon the thematic alignment of the script.
