Arijit Singh has become the most followed artist globally on Spotify, reaching over 151 million followers, according to volt.fm's July 4 update. With this milestone, he surpasses international stars like Taylor Swift (139.6M), Ed Sheeran (121M), Billie Eilish (114M), and The Weeknd (107.3M).

Known for hits like Tum Hi Ho, Kesariya, and Ullu Ka Pattha, Arijit was also the first Indian artist to cross 100 million followers on the platform. In 2024, he ranked as the third most-streamed artist globally, following Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.

His recent songs feature in Anurag Basu’s film Metro... In Dino, including tracks like Zamaana Lage and Aur Mohabbat Kitni Karoon.

The list of Spotify's 99 most-followed artists includes 11 other Indians. AR Rahman is ranked 14th (65.6M), Pritam 21st (53.4M), Neha Kakkar 25th (48.5M), Sidhu Moose Wala 31st (43M), Anirudh Ravichander 37th (40.3M), Diljit Dosanjh 56th (33.2M), Yo Yo Honey Singh 58th (31.3M), Shreya Ghoshal 61st (30.9M), Badshah 67th (29.7M), Darshan Raval 76th (25.9M), and Armaan Malik 88th (23.3M).
