I finally got the chance to visit Kap’s Café in Surrey this weekend and wow, what an experience. As someone who’s grown up watching Kapil Sharma make millions laugh, walking into a space created by him and his wife Ginni Chatrath felt surreal. It’s not just a café; it’s like stepping into a little world they’ve poured their hearts into.
The moment I walked in, I was hit by the cozy, dreamlike vibe. The soft blush-pink walls, the creamy white accents, those delicate floral arrangements… it all felt like a page out of a fairy tale. I walked through a floral archway into a space glowing under crystal chandeliers. Baby-pink velvet chairs, gold-rimmed tables, and the gentle aroma of fresh coffee it was all so warm and inviting. Totally Instagram-worthy, but also deeply comforting in a way I didn’t expect.
There was a buzz of excitement in the air everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there. I overheard fans gushing over the décor, and people were taking selfies left and right. It felt like we were all part of something special, something more than just grabbing a cup of coffee.
Now the menu where do I even start? I ordered a gur wali chai, and it was just the hug I didn’t know I needed. Sweet, earthy, and nostalgic, like something straight out of my childhood. I paired it with a slice of their lemon pistachio cake, and oh my god—it was divine. Light, zesty, with just the right amount of crunch. I also picked up a matcha latte and a croissant for the road (zero regrets).
If you’re anywhere near Surrey, trust me—go to Kap’s Café. It’s more than just coffee and cake. It’s a vibe, an experience, and a reminder that our stories and culture can be celebrated in the most beautiful ways.
