Punjabi actress and model Himanshi Khurana has approached the Mohali police after allegedly receiving a ₹10 crore extortion threat from a gangster believed to be operating from abroad, officials confirmed.

According to police sources, the actress reported that she received a threatening email on her personal email account. The message allegedly included a voice note in which the sender demanded ₹10 crore.

Superintendent of Police (Investigation) Saurav Jindal stated that authorities are working to trace the origin of the email and identify the individual responsible for sending the voice message.

Police officials added that a detailed investigation is currently underway, and appropriate legal action will follow as per the findings.

Himanshi Khurana is widely recognized for her contribution to Punjabi cinema and music. She gained popularity for her role in the 2013 Punjabi film Sadda Haq and has appeared in numerous Punjabi songs and films. She also participated in Season 13 of the reality television show Bigg Boss.

In a related development last month, Punjabi singer Dilnoor also filed a complaint with Mohali police, claiming he received a threatening call demanding ₹10 crore and targeting popular singer B Praak.
