Punjabi lyricist Gursewak Singh Brar known for his songs Jatt Saab, Dawood tragically lost his life in a road accident near Kotakpura, Punjab, on Sunday evening. He was 47.

The accident occurred around 8:45 p.m. while Gursewak was returning to his hometown, Muktsar. His motorcycle reportedly collided with a truck, resulting in his untimely death on the spot. Authorities have launched an investigation based on information provided by his family.

His body was taken to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot, for a post-mortem examination.

Gursewak is survived by his father, wife, and young son. A beloved figure in his community and the sole breadwinner for his family, his sudden passing has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew him.
