It's been five long days since beloved Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda was admitted to the ICU in Punjab, india and as he continues to fight for his life, prayers are pouring in from across the globe. From gurdwaras to living rooms, Punjabis everywhere are joining hands in ardaas, sending strength and hope for a miracle.

In cities like Surrey and Brampton where Rajvir has an immense fan base special prayer meetings have been held, uniting the community in grief, hope, and unwavering faith. Across Canada and in Punjabi households worldwide, candles are being lit, ardaas recited, and hearts lifted in the hope that their favourite artist returns to health.

Rajvir, who is just 35, remains on life support at a private hospital in Mohali following a devastating motorcycle accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, on September 27. He sustained critical injuries to his head and spine during a biking trip with friends and was rushed to Fortis Hospital in an extremely critical condition.

Doctors from the hospital’s Critical Care and Neurosciences teams have stated that while he is under close observation, there has been no significant improvement in his neurological condition.

Fans, many of whom grew up with Rajvir’s songs as the soundtrack of their lives, are refusing to give up. Social media is flooded with emotional messages, old videos, and heartfelt wishes. But beyond the digital realm, it’s the silence in prayer halls, the whispered chants of hope, and the tearful eyes of those who have never even met him that speak volumes.

"I’m still in shock," says Manbir Dhaliwal, 23, a devoted fan of Rajvir Jawanda and a front desk manager in a local food business in Surrey. "But I truly believe in the power of ardaas. My friends and I have been praying day and night for Rajvir's recovery. We’re holding onto hope and faith that's all we can do right now."
