Bollywood star Ranveer Singh has allegedly been issued a death threat along with a demand for Rs 10 crore, reportedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, according to sources. The warning is said to have arrived as a voice message sent from a phone number registered in the United States.

The Mumbai Police have initiated an investigation, with the Crime Branch overseeing the case. Sources indicate that officials are working alongside law enforcement authorities in the US to track the number’s origin and determine who may be responsible. Investigators are reviewing technical details such as call data records and digital trails to confirm whether the threat is genuine. As a precaution, security arrangements for the actor are likely to be reassessed.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has earlier been associated with several prominent extortion and intimidation cases involving well-known personalities.
