‘Sardaar Ji 3’ receives overwhelming reception in Pakistan

Punjabi film Sardaar Ji 3, featuring Diljit Dosanjh and Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, has been embraced warmly by audiences in Pakistan, despite the film being pulled from release in India. The casting of a Pakistani actor alongside an Indian star stirred significant controversy across India, especially in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack and the recently launched Operation Sindoor. These developments reignited the unofficial ban on Pakistani artists in Indian cinema.

According to initial reports, the film opened to sold-out shows across Pakistan and raked in an impressive $500,000 (approximately ₹4.27 crore) on its debut day alone.

Despite the challenges, Sardaar Ji 3 appears to have found its audience elsewhere, enjoying both commercial success and enthusiastic support beyond Indian borders.
