Despite recent controversy tied to Diljit Dosanjh’s involvement in Border 2 following criticism related to Sardaar Ji 3 rumors surfaced suggesting that T-Series would end its association with the actor. However, the production house has dismissed these claims, making it clear that no such decision has been made.
The speculation intensified after Diljit posted a photo from the Border 2 set on social media. Around the same time, reports indicated that the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) had lifted its ban on the actor after a direct appeal from producer Bhushan Kumar. Although FWICE agreed to allow the completion of Border 2, it maintained that its stance of non-cooperation with Diljit would apply to future collaborations.
Some media outlets alleged that Bhushan Kumar had privately assured FWICE that Diljit would not be part of any further T-Series ventures post-Border 2.
Earlier in the week, Diljit personally dispelled rumors of being removed from Border 2 by posting a behind-the-scenes clip from the shoot. According to India Today, FWICE lifted its ban specifically for this project, citing Bhushan Kumar’s direct intervention.
