Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra Deol hospitalized in Mumbai – condition reported critical

Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra Deol has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after experiencing breathing difficulties. Hospital sources say the 89-year-old actor is in critical condition and has been placed on ventilator support. A team of doctors is closely monitoring his health condition.

Medical staff have indicated that the next few days will be crucial for his recovery. Family members, including his wife and actor–politician Hema Malini, are at the hospital. In a social media post, Malini confirmed that Dharmendra is under medical care and urged fans to pray for his speedy recovery.

Dharmendra, known for his roles in Hindi cinema classics from the 1960s and 1970s, remains one of Bollywood’s most respected figures. In recent years, he has appeared occasionally in films and television projects alongside his sons Sunny and Bobby Deol.
