The Punjab-Haryana High Court on Friday gave a big blow to the former Congress minister of Punjab Sadhu Singh Dharamsot by justifying his arrest by the ED in the forest scam case and rejected his petition against it.

Along with this, they were granted bail on technical grounds in the case of property exceeding income. Dharamsot had challenged the arrest in both these cases as illegal.

However, despite being granted bail in one case, Dharamsot will not be able to come out of jail, his custody will continue in the forest scam case. Dharamsot is currently lodged in Nabha Central Jail.
