Politics has heated up over the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has criticized the government. He said that capture of all institutions including the media, breaking up of parties, freezing the accounts of the main opposition parties and now arresting the elected chief ministers have also become common.

On the other hand, on the contrary, Punjab Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira tweeted that today proved that when you dig a hole for someone else, you often fall into it yourself. Khaira also made another tweet in which he wrote that it is hoped that Arvind Kejriwal's family will understand the pain of jail today.

Khaira said that the Aam Aadmi Party government framed me in a completely false drug case and he went to jail. It is to be noted that former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh are also in jail in the alleged liquor scam of Delhi.

A new excise policy was brought in Delhi in November 2021 under the leadership of Manish Sisodia. However, in August 2022, the Delhi government rejected this new liquor policy. There are allegations that there was a big scam in the implementation of this policy and under this the liquor business was to come into the hands of private companies.

At the same time, while talking to the journalists, Atishi, the minister of the AAP government in Delhi, says that Kejriwal will remain the chief minister of Delhi and the government will be run from jail.

Delhi Education Minister Atishi Singh targeted PM Modi and said that arrest of Arvind Kejriwal is a political conspiracy of BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that if Prime Minister Narendra Modi is afraid of any leader, it is Arvind Kejriwal.
