Politics has heated up with former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi terming the terrorist attack on an Indian Air Force vehicle in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch as a 'stunt' by the BJP.

However, the former CM clarified that I called it a stunt because every time such attacks are presented as a political stunt. At the same time, BJP leader Anurag Thakur retorted on this, he said that Charanjit Channi should tell whether the wars of 1962, 1965 and 1971 were fought to win elections?

It is to be noted that an Indian Air Force soldier was martyred and four others were injured in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district on Saturday evening. Charanjit Channi on Sunday alleged that it was pre-planned and such stunts are done to facilitate BJP's victory in the elections.
