Kentucky's attorney general is asking a court to delay the release of secret grand jury proceedings in Breonna Taylor's killing by police just as audio recordings were set to be made public.

Attorney General Daniel Cameron's office filed a motion Wednesday asking for a week delay to the release so officials could redact names and personal information from the recording.

A court in Louisville was expected to release the audio recordings on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, one of two Louisville police officers shot during protests last week held a news conference calling for peace and unity between law enforcement, protesters and other residents.

Maj. Aubrey Gregory returned to light duty this week after being shot in the hip.

Kelowna RCMP has confirmed the death of a motorcycle rider following a crash on Highway 97 Thursday night. Police said the collision occurred at around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Harvey Avenue and Ethel Street, involving a black sedan and a motorcycle. The motorcycle caught fire shortly after the crash. Corporal Steven Lang said the motorcycle rider was pronounced dead when emergency crews and police arrived at the scene. 21 Killed, 45 Rescued After Damaged Gaza Building Collapses

At least 21 people, including eight children, were killed after a building damaged by bombardment collapsed in Gaza a day later. Rescue teams rescued 45 people alive from beneath the rubble, according to Palestinian officials. Rescue crews completed their search of the collapsed building on Thursday.
