A 31-year-old Calgary man has been charged with allegedly making a death threat against Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
The RCMP’s Integrated National Security Enforcement Team (INSET) launched an investigation after receiving information about a threat against Carney from a YouTube account.
Working with Calgary police, INSET arrested Jamie Dacosta and charged him with uttering threats against the Prime Minister.
Dacosta is scheduled to appear in Alberta Court of Justice today.
