were gone Phillaur MLA Vikramjit Chaudhary did not like the inscription 'Sada Channi Jalandhar' on it, he said that Channi has nothing to do with Doaba and neither does he know its culture and Kotli, who joined the Congress two years ago.

Don't know the culture of Congress. Vikramjit Chaudhary targeted Kotli and said that the party does not give tickets by writing Jalandhar on the cake.

He said that perhaps this culture may exist in the BSP, of which Kotli was a part earlier. It is to be noted that Vikramjit's father Chaudhary Santokh Singh has been a Member of Parliament twice from Jalandhar seat.

After his demise last year, his mother Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary contested the 2023 by-election but lost to Sushil Rinku.
