The Supreme Court has granted him interim bail till June 1 and asked him to surrender on June 2 under any circumstances. As soon as he came out of jail, Kejriwal targeted the Modi government, telling his supporters that the country has to be saved from dictatorship.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was granted bail by the Supreme Court today for the election campaign. He came out of Tihar jail on Friday evening after 39 days.


The Supreme Court has granted him interim bail till June 1 and asked him to surrender on June 2 under any circumstances. As soon as he came out of jail, Kejriwal targeted the Modi government, telling his supporters that the country has to be saved from dictatorship.

It is to be noted that Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the ED on March 21 in the liquor scam. The Supreme Court did not grant him full bail, the court said that if there were no elections, there was no question of granting bail.
