Peel Regional Police have arrested a 22-year-old Brampton man, identified as Tapinder Singh Ghuman, in connection with a series of retail store robberies in the city. Police said five retail businesses were targeted between August 14 and August 24. Suspended Vancouver Police officer Kalwinder Dosanjh has been granted bail under 23 strict conditions following his arrest in Surrey. Canada has imposed retaliatory tariffs ranging from 15 to 50 per cent on a range of goods imported from the United States, affecting an estimated $28 billion worth of U.S. imports.
