India wins the Super 8, beating Afghanistan by 47 runs

In the Super-8 of the T20 World Cup today, India defeated Afghanistan by 47 runs and wins the match very easily. On the strength of fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh's excellent bowling, India recorded this fourth consecutive victory in the T20 World Cup.

Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first, Rohit got out for eight runs in 13 balls, Virat could only score 24 runs, while Suryakumar Yadav's half-century helped him in 20 overs. India scored 181 runs for eight wickets and gave Afghanistan a target of 182 runs.

At the same time, showing strength in bowling, Bumrah and Arshdeep took three wickets each of Afghanistan, thanks to which India reduced Afghanistan to 134 runs in 20 overs.

India will now face Bangladesh on Saturday. India is at the top of the Super 8 group with two points.
