A 69-year-old man has died after being struck by a semi-truck that was backing into a loading dock at a warehouse in Calgary’s southeast industrial area on Thursday. Police say the man was walking behind the vehicle to set up a ramp when the collision occurred. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries but later died. The driver of the truck, a man in his 30s, was not injured and stayed at the scene while investigators arrived.
