After the ceasefire between the two countries, Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that India's aggressive policy has completely failed in front of Pakistan.

Pakistan's Daily Times newspaper has quoted the Defense Minister as saying that India was expecting an easy victory, but its cover has been exposed on the military and diplomatic front. Khawaja Asif said that the myth of Indian arrogance has blown up in the air. During this conflict, India was stunned by the retaliation taken by Pakistan.

He said that India could not succeed in explaining its claims to a single country. The Defense Minister said that the whole world is praising Pakistan's restraint and strength. India's story is now over because they could not provide any evidence. Their credibility has been dealt a huge blow.
