Punjab Vidhan Sabha Session: 6 Proposals Passed

Amidst Punjab's water dispute with Haryana, a special session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha was held today. During this session that lasted for about 5 hours, all parties unanimously passed 6 proposals, out of which one proposal said that Punjab will not give a single drop of its share of water to Haryana and the 4 thousand cusecs of water that is being given on humanitarian grounds will be continued.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that we are giving this water to Haryana at present, but if there is an attack on the interests of Punjab, then it will not be available in the future either. CM Bhagwant Mann said that we are not attacking anyone's rights, Haryana has always used water more than the prescribed limit.
