Amid panchayat elections in Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party is a constant target of opposition parties. Congress MP from Gurdaspar and former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party is involving gangsters and their families in the Sarpanchi elections.

Randhawa said that the atmosphere in Punjab today is that there is open shooting and the Aam Aadmi Party and the Chief Minister are involved in supporting the gangsters.

Sukhjinder Randhawa said that he went to Kalnaur with J-Pulse Security where he saw several police officers standing with a gangster, while that gangster is named in 26 to 27 cases. Randhawa said that law and order in Punjab has deteriorated.
