On the seventh day of the Indian Parliament session, BJP MP Anurag Thakur had a heated debate with Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi over the caste census.

Anurag Thakur attacked Rahul Gandhi and said that you get slips to speak, politics does not work with borrowed intelligence.

Thakur then said that these days the ghost of caste census is riding on some people, whose caste is not known, he talks about caste census. Rahul Gandhi got angry at this and accused Anurag Thakur of insulting him and said that we want a caste census and will get it done.

On this, Anurag Thakur again tightened his grip and said that you have to write your caste in it.

It is to be noted that Rahul Gandhi is repeatedly raising the issue of conducting caste census. Those who support the caste census say that it will help in formulating policies, while those who oppose it argue that it is a divisive step in the society.
