The Government of Canada has opened the registration of the National Dental Care Plan for people over 72 years of age

The Government of Canada has opened registration for the National Dental Care Plan for seniors aged 72 years and above from Thursday.

Benefits under this program are due to begin in May, but Canadians with seniors aged 87 years and older have been registered for the program since December. In January, people aged 77 to 86 were invited to apply, now in March, seniors aged 70 to 71 will be invited to apply.

According to Health Minister Mark Holland, more than 40 thousand seniors have registered for the National Dental Care Plan so far. This program provides dental coverage to Canadians who do not have dental insurance and whose family income is less than $90,000. Under 18 in June.
