Suspended Vancouver Police officer Kalwinder Dosanjh has been granted bail under 23 strict conditions following his arrest in Surrey. As part of the bail conditions, Dosanjh must regularly report to a bail supervisor with the Burnaby RCMP and is prohibited from leaving British Columbia without permission. Canada has imposed retaliatory tariffs ranging from 15 to 50 per cent on a range of goods imported from the United States, affecting an estimated $28 billion worth of U.S. imports. British Columbia’s unemployment rate rose by 0.3 percentage points to 6.5% in August, while the province recorded a net loss of about 5,500 jobs, according to Statistics Canada.
