On the two-year anniversary of his disappearance, White Rock RCMP is renewing their plea for information about Justin Fisher.

On October 8, 2023, White Rock RCMP received a report of found property and determined it belonged to Justin Kyle Fisher.

The last known sighting of Justin Fisher was in White Rock, BC in the 15000 block of Marine Drive, on October 7, 2023. His backpack containing his belongings was found in the water about 100 metres offshore by a kayaker on October 8, 2023. Based on our investigation, we do not believe there is any criminality associated to his disappearance.

As the investigation began, police were unable to locate him and contacted his family in the United States. Fisher’s family told police that they had not heard from him since his arrival to Canada on October 2, 2023.

At this stage, police know that Justin travelled to Vancouver while in Canada and surveillance footage and receipts confirmed his presence in the area of Cambie Street and 7th. Police have not been able to locate the outdoor gear, or the clothes Justin was last seen wearing which was a plaid shirt, dark blue jeans and black shoes.

Justin would now be 43 years old and in 2023 was described as:

  • 6 feet tall
  • 220 lbs
  • grey balding hair
  • Hazel eyes

Justin’s family described him as a quiet, mellow, reserved type. He is a deep thinker, who likes to engage in conversations about world events, history and philosophy.

We want to find Justin and provide his family with the answers they are looking for.

Justin – if you see this: Your mom and family miss you and want to know if you’re safe, okay and doing alright.

If you have any information about Justin Fisher or believe you may have seen him in the last two years, please contact the White Rock RCMP at 778-545-4800.
