A woman has been arrested by the RCMP after allegedly assaulting a driving instructor and making racist remarks in a parking lot in Langley, British Columbia.

The incident occurred around 9 a.m. on Wednesday in the parking lot of a church in the 4800 block of 207 Street, which was empty at the time.

According to Corporal Mansoor Sahak, the incident followed a dispute over parking, during which the woman allegedly grabbed the instructor by the collar of his shirt and assaulted him.

A video that has gone viral on social media appears to show the woman attacking the instructor while making racist remarks, including telling him to “go back to your country.” The instructor responded by saying that he was born in Canada.

Police arrived at the scene and arrested the woman. She has since been released, while the investigation remains ongoing.
