Punjabi actor found dead in mysterious circumstances

Punjabi film actor and renowned Gatka teacher Sond Singh, known for his role in Guru Nanak Jahaz, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Kapurthala, Punjab. He had been missing since May 9.

Authorities have yet to disclose the cause of death, and the incident is currently under police investigation. The Punjabi Film and TV Actors Association confirmed Singh’s passing in a social media statement, expressing shock and grief over the loss.

Sond Singh was respected not only for his contributions to Punjabi cinema but also for promoting Gatka, the traditional Sikh martial art. His sudden and unexplained death has left the regional film and cultural community in mourning.
