After being elected as the new Prime Minister of Canada, Liberal Party leader Mark Carney took aim at President Donald Trump in his victory speech. Carney said that Trump is trying to break us up so that America can take over us, but that will never happen.

He said that Canada's old relationship with America is over and we now have many options other than America for the prosperity of Canadians.

It is noteworthy that Carney is a former central bank governor. Under his leadership, the Liberals are going to form a government for the fourth time. According to the results of Elections Canada, the Liberals are currently in 168 seats, which is 4 seats short of a majority.
