A heated argument was witnessed between Congress MP Charanjit Channi from Punjab and BJP minister Ravneet Singh Bittu during the discussion on the budget in the Lok Sabha today.

Channi-Amritpal Singh was raising the issue of NSA imposed on him without naming him, he said that the MP elected by 2 lakh people has been kept in jail by imposing NSA, which is an undeclared emergency in the country.

Meanwhile, he told Ravneet Bittu that your grandfather former Chief Minister Beant Singh was martyred but he died on the day you left the Congress.

Ravneet Bittu got angry at this and stood up in the House and said, 'My grandfather was martyred not for Congress but for the country.'

On the issue of NSA raised by Channi, Bittu said that it is not on the farmers, but on those who want to divide the country and Punjab.
