This weekend, the 5th annual Old Town Ladner Car and Quilt Show was held in Ladner on Sunday. The participants started arriving with their vintage vehicles at around 8 a.m. on Delta Street in Ladner, between Chisholm Street and Bridge Street.

Owners of vintage vehicles came with their families and friends to be a part of this event, and people who came to see the vehicles were also seen chatting with the owners of these vehicles.

People arriving at the event also asked questions to the vehicle owners regarding the maintenance of the vehicles and people could also be seen taking pictures with the vehicles.

There was a $20 fee for those bringing vehicles to the event, and a 50/50 draw was also held at the end of the event at 4 p.m.

It was informed that the money collected from the event would be donated to the Heron Hospice Society.

Ed Leach, who was part of the event, said during a conversation with Connect FM that he was happy to participate and shared information about his vehicle, saying that ICBC had helped him with its VIN number. He congratulated all the drivers for coming to the event.
