Donald Trump appeals $454 million judgment in New York civil fraud case

Donald Trumphas appealed his$454 million New York civil fraud judgment,challenging ajudge’s findingthatTrump lied about his wealthas he grew the real estate empire that launched him to stardom and the presidency.

The former president’s lawyers filed a notice of appeal Monday asking the state’s mid-level appeals court to overturn Judge Arthur Engoron’s Feb. 16 verdict in Attorney General Letitia James’ lawsuit.

ਇਜ਼ਰਾਇਲ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਬਨਾਨ ਦੇ ਹਿਜ਼ਬੁੱਲਾਹ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਜੰਗਬੰਦੀ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਖਬਰ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇੱਕ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੰਗਬੰਦੀ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਸਮੇਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ 4 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਐਲਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਘੰਟੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਲੇਬਨਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਜ਼ਰਾਈਲੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਹਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਲਗਭਗ 18 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਇਜ਼ਰਾਈਲ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਾਰ ਸੈਨਿਕ ਵੀ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਈਰਾਨ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਯੁੱਧ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ 19 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਵਿਟਜ਼ਰਲੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਜਿਨੇਵਾ ਨੇੜੇ ਲੂਸਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅੰਤਰਿਮ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ 'ਤੇ ਡੋਨਲਡ ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਫਰਾਂਸ ਦੇ ਪੈਲੇਸ ਆਫ ਵਰਸੇਲਜ਼ ਵਿਖੇ ਦਸਤਖਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਫਰਾਂਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਇਮੈਨੁਅਲ ਮੈਕਰੋਨ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਟਰੰਪ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ 'ਤੇ ਦਸਤਖਤ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੈਲੇਸ ਆਫ ਵਰਸੇਲਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ‘ਤੇ ਦਸਤਖਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
